Techno Raises $465 Million Series G Funding Round to Meet Surging Global Demand for Power

From capital to clean, reliable power.
With this round, Techno has now raised more than $2.3 billion to date. The new financing brings over 600 skilled manufacturing jobs to the United States and positions our first commercial plant to begin delivering electricity before the end of the decade.
Our partners share a simple conviction: the world needs abundant, carbon-free baseload power, and fusion can provide it. This investment turns that conviction into steel, magnets, and megawatts, and accelerates the moment fusion becomes part of everyday energy infrastructure.
Global electricity demand is rising faster than at any point in the last two decades, driven by data centers, electrified transport, and rapidly growing economies. Techno's $465 million Series G round, led by Thrive Capital at a $15.5 billion post-money valuation, is designed to meet that demand head-on. The new capital moves fusion from the laboratory toward the grid, giving our teams the resources to build, test, and deliver at industrial scale.
Expanded U.S. manufacturing capacity
Faster power plant deployment
Supply chain localization
Workforce growth & training
Grid integration partnerships
The funding will roughly triple our component production footprint, bringing magnet winding, vacuum vessel fabrication, and capacitor assembly under one roof. By controlling the most critical parts of the build, we shorten lead times and protect our schedule from the bottlenecks that have slowed large energy projects in the past.
Techno is scaling with a disciplined, phased roadmap.
Each phase of our expansion is tied to clear technical and commercial milestones: validating production-grade components, commissioning our first commercial facility, and signing long-term power purchase agreements with utility and industrial partners. Capital is released into each phase only as the previous one is proven.
We are also investing in digital twins of our production lines, allowing engineers to simulate throughput, test design changes, and anticipate maintenance before a single machine stops. Investors and partners receive regular, transparent progress reports so every stakeholder can see exactly where we stand.

"True efficiency in manufacturing is not measured by speed alone, but by the harmony of human ingenuity and machine precision. It is the relentless pursuit of smarter processes”
Automation is no longer a choice — it is the engine driving modern manufacturing. With smart machines, AI, and human expertise working together, industries achieve higher output, reduce waste, and maintain a competitive edge. Every process becomes smarter, greener, and future-ready, turning challenges into opportunities for innovation.
